MGH provides exceptional healthcare, as well as 24/7 emergency services. MGH is known throughout Washington as one of the highest rated rural hospitals in the State. MGH is a licensed and accredited acute care hospital and is a part of Public Hospital District No. 1., which consists of North Mason Medical Clinic,, Oakland Bay Pediatrics, and Mason County Eye Clinic. It has earned, through extensive specialized training and meeting stringent qualifications, a level four trauma designation. In addition, MGH is a Center of Excellence for bariatric surgery.

MGH is a complete, full-service tobacco free medical facility and is accreditated by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. Mason General features: A level four trauma designation emergency department staffed by board certified emergency services physicians, emergency services trained nurses and staff, and an intensive care unit that extends privacy to the most critical patients. Three major surgery suites are complemented by two procedure rooms and an extensive laparoscopic surgery program.
Other Services include physical therapy, respiratory therapy, outpatient surgery, diagnostic imaging (including CT Scan, ultrasound, fluoroscope, nuclear medicine and echocardiogram). Other amenities include, a modern full-service laboratory, labor and delivery rooms with private birthing suites, airlift service, continuing education for staff, physicians and community, as well as diabetes education and of course private patient rooms and public meeting areas.
With more than 100 active, courtesy, and consulting, physicians on staff, in 21 specialties, MGH takes great pride in these dedicated experienced professionals. It has more than 450 employees and 100 volunteers waiting to care for the community. The staff, physicians and physical plant are highly regarded throughout the state.
